Who knew Macy Gray had mad love for modern rock?
The singer's new release, Covered, offers soulful interpretations of many alternative hits such as Radiohead's "Creep," Awolnation's "Sail," Arcade Fire's "Wake Up," and "Maps" by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs.  A nice surprise is the cover duet, with actor Idris Elba, of Colbie Caillat's "Bubbly."  There are also a few hilarious skits, one featuring rapper MC Lyte, proving that Gray may perhaps have a second career in comedy.
