Interview: Richard Velloso - Custom Furniture Genius Behind Olga Guanabara

A new furniture store has sprouted up in Dumbo and it's called Olga Guanabara.

This handcrafted furniture store is filled with everything clever you wish you could make if you were into DIY.

Owner Richard Velloso designs and makes all pieces on site in his Brooklyn workshop/showroom. Business partner Renato is based in Vancouver, BC, but worry not since Richard has Olga (his chocolate lab) to keep him in good company on the premises. After all, the place is named after the lovely girl.
