With hurricane "Irene" on its way to NYC I felt the need to share some music fitting for the occasion Hurricanes are not a positive, but I'm keeping a positive outlook that this too shall pass and all will be okay.

So listen up "Irene," you won't get the best of me or us New Yorkers. Let's "talk like lovers do," but to that I add this twist, when we are done, get to steppin' and don't come back. You're just not my type babe!

Janet Jackson's song "You Want This," from her fifth studio album janet., is still such an awesome song to listen to. Why doesn't music on the radio sound this good anymore?

The video is so simple, yet entertaining to watch. Girls out having fun in the sun and flirting with boys. I must say, however, that I'm glad women no longer dress in the manly fashions being sported by a few of the ladies here -- please let's definitely keep that style forever back in the 90's.

On another note, look how ridiculously toned Janet's abs are. Gotta love it! Gotta love Janet!
