Buena Camarena Tacos!

Ever since I found out that Camarena Tequila would have a food truck for five weeks around NYC giving out free tequila infused tacos, I've been trying to track it down. Some days I knew where and when it would be at a certain spot, but the timing was not always convenient for me. Then, this weekend, I wasn't even looking for it, and spotted it on Greenwich Avenue on the West side.

You best believe that I stopped and enjoyed my free taco. Check it out:

A few weeks ago I attended the preview event for the new hotel in Times Square called YOTEL founded by British businessman Simon Woodroffe. And, while I found myself mesmerized by this futuristic rest and hangout spot in the middle of Manhattan, I was also quite fascinated by Mr. Woodroffe's footwear while he gave his welcoming speech about the hotel.

I really wish that Mis-Teeq, one of the coolest British R&B girl groups to my knowledge, would have fully crossed over to the U.S. market with more than just their song "Scandalous" featured in promotions for the movie "Catwoman."

The trio, made up of members Sabrina Washington, Alesha Dixon, and Su-Elise Nash, had so many other quality tunes which I'm sure would have been great for the American market. They were the British Destiny's Child and then some.

Two of their other hit songs include "Can't Get It Back" and "B With Me." Check it out.
