Sealy Next Generation Posturepedic

I recently I got a chance to preview the Sealy Next Generation Posturepedic bed at an exclusive event held in New York City.

With 60 years in the business and being North America's No. 1 mattress brand, it was exciting to see their latest innovation.

To highlight the evening and to go along with their latest marketing campaign "Whatever You Do In Bed, Sealy Supports It," Dr. Logan Levkoff, a renowned relationship expert and sexologist, was invited to touch on topics such as bedroom etiquette and creating healthy bedroom lifestyle, just to name a few.

The Sealy Next Generation Posturepedic has:

A CoreSupport Center - a reinforced area in the middle that is a combination of power-packed materials and titanium alloy springs. The quilted center design also highlights the CoreSupport.
LiftRight Surround Handles - they wrap around all sides of the mattress and help in moving or lifting the mattress.
StayTight Foundation - this brings smart design to box springs, providing a rubberized surface on the top of the foundation to keep the mattress in place, along with keeping sheets and bed skirts where they belong. The grid-like surface highlights the StayTight foundation cover.

I have to say that I was impressed by the feel of the mattress. The CoreSupport section of the bed certainly seems to make a difference when it comes to comfort. I also really appreciate the LiftRight Surround handles, which is a feature one rarely sees on a mattress. Mattresses are always so difficult to move around, but I think these particular handles on the Sealy Next Generation Posturepedic are super handy.

To help one envision how Sealy supports what one does in bed, mock living scenarios were set up around the studio during the preview.

Topping it all off, Sealy has created a fun app called "In Bed" inspired by the fortune cookie game where one adds the words "in bed" to the end of a fortune. Snap a photo and the "In Bed" watermark will appear which can be uploaded to Facebook and Twitter.
